Justice League details confirmed?
We've heard a fair amount about the Justice League of American film already, and today it seems that a non-Internet site has picked up the rumours, bundled them together and republished them...or it could be that this is a confirmation, we'll have to see.
We get confirmation on some of the bigger script details through the character breakdown, as well as which superheroes are going to be appearing in the film.
Entertainment Weekly through IESB has some news that tells us that what they've seen of the film is very faithful to the 1960 original comic book, and the confirm what characters we thought would star as well as villains.
“All seven original members of the Justice League -- Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter -- are featured in an origins story about the superhero conglomerate. The plot revolves around villainous businessman Maxwell Lord and involves cyborgs called OMACs (One-Man Army Corps), who can take over humans and turn them into killing machines. There are epic battles between Superman and Batman, as well as Superman and Wonder Woman.”
So there we have it. They also carry a sentence on each character that tells us their background. Some more interesting points are that Aquaman doesn't like humans and is really looking out for his fellow heroes, Flash is a bit young and naïve, and Batman is distrustful of the others.
Nothing that exciting, and stuff he already heard about, although the expansion on the Justice League of America enemy does sound interesting, and that's probably the big confirmation of the story.
