The first teaser trailer for Repo! The Genetic Opera has arrived online, and you can see it right here.

I'm really not sure what to make of it, I'm torn between thinking this could be really cheesy, over the top, or it could turn out to be a really good horror musical...of which I don't think there are that many!

It comes from iFilm through Rope of Silicon. What do you think? Is it looking good? I think it's certainly looking slick, and Anthony Head looks superb in the role, but I'm not so sure about such scenes as Paul Sorvino with the man with the false face and the other with the knife, those performances look a bit over the top. Yet then we see some great horror moments, and some great shots...

I don't know, it's really difficult to tell from this early on and we'll need to see some more footage from Repo! The Genetic Opera before knowing how good this is going to be.
