Resident Evil franchise continues in 3D

ResidentEvil.jpgResident Evil: Extinction wasn't the last of the series after all, well perhaps it was for live action but not for film.

Biohazard: Degeneration is the next in the series and will have an original storyline and be entirely computer generated. Oh, and it will also be in 3-D.

I don't really hold out much hope for it, but perhaps the most promising sign is that it is being called Biohazard, after the Japanese titling of the franchise of games. Does that mean we're in for a different take from the Hollywood version? Perhaps so.

Variety has the news that Sony Pictures and Capcom are working on the title. I wouldn't be surprised if we did see a fourth live action film though, would you?
