The trailer for Wanted has arrived online, and for those of you who don't know what that means then you haven't been following the site much have you?

Wanted stars James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman in the big screen adaptation by Timur Bekmambetov (director of the Russian Watch trilogy) of Mark Millar's very good comic series.

So far I've been disappointed with the direction that the story has been taking and the departure from the original material, now, after seeing the trailer I'm a little more hopeful, but this isn't the comic Wanted, this is something very different. It's Timur Bekmambetov's Wanted, and should that be a bad thing?

There are also a few new images online over at Rope of Silicon for the film. Visually I think it looks like this could be a corker, giving the director of Night Watch (Filmstalker review) and Day Watch (Filmstalker review) a Hollywood budget was a very strong move, but I'm still concerned about the departure from the original story, even with this bold looking trailer.
