Patrick Smith Kelly is set to adapt the supernatural thriller novel Benighted from Kit Whitfield, a world which sounds pretty intriguing.

Set in a future world where werewolves outnumber humans as ninety percent of the population, humans are assigned as the peace keepers during the periods of full moon.

The novel specifically looks at a human called Lola who is a member of the police force investigating a series of suspicious and unsolved murders.

According to The Hollywood Reporter through Coming Soon, Andrew Adamson is producing and is considering directing the film. Make a nice change from green ogres and talking lions.
