It was only a matter of time before the first mobile phone camera copy of the Cloverfield trailer appeared online, and I fear it will only be a matter of time before the lawyers emails are received and it's removed.

However it's up online just now, in probably the smallest and worst formats you could ever imagine, but online it is none the less.

The video of the Cloverfield trailer is taken on a 3G camera phone and is split into three parts, for some reason they couldn't film the complete thing in one go, so you have to watch each section. To be honest there's not much to see yet, but it gives you an idea of what it will be.

Rather than steal the scoop from the site who have it, like other sites might, I'm going to say that this is directly from Cloverfield News who have the three links to the downloadable file shares.

Right now they are working on putting the clips together, but what I'd much rather see is a larger, higher quality version of the Cloverfield trailer online. So either the studio go out and do that now and answer the desire to see this online or we'll see some fan record it and post it online...and I won't be adverse to writing about that either...lawyers permitting!
