Filmstalker's Week 19th to 25th November

Newspapers.jpgWelcome to the weekly roundup at Filmstalker. Just click below for the weeks news, reviews and trailers. Don't forget you can suggest stories for Filmstalker on Filmstalker Readers, and if you want to do next weeks roundup just contact Richard.

Richard reviewed Vacancy on DVD. Kate Beckinsale and Luke Wilson star in the thriller/horror. They play a couple on their way home by car late at night, who find themselves having to stay in a motel. Needless to say it turns out to be an eventful night. You can also read the Filmstalker review of the film here.

Filmstalker also reviewed Taking Liberties. The film looks at civil liberties in Britain and how they have changed under Labour.

A new high quality Cloverfield trailer appeared, and with it a secret was revealed.

The Poughkeepsie Tapes trailer is also available to watch.

And The Oxford Murders trailer also hit the internet.

We also saw a trailer for Stephen Chow's CJ7.

And also one for Argentos Mother of Tears.

And last but not least was Colin Farrell's In Bruges trailer.

Yet another comic book adaptation is on the way. Bruce Willis is set to star in the big screen version of The Surrogates.

Vin Diesel may well return in another Riddick film.

We found out who the Daddy is, well who is going to be Spock's Dad in the new Star Trek film that is.

The plot outline for Guy Pearce's new film Traitor was revealed.

Fast and the Furious 4 plot details were also leaked, beware there are spoilers included.

John Malkovich is hiring internet writers for his new project.

Harry Potter fans will get the chance to be in the next film. A walk on part but a part none the less.

And Christian Bale may well be starring in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. or as everyone will call it Terminator 4. No one is sure if he's going to be John Connor or a Terminator. I think he'd make a good John Connor myself, that's just me thinking back to what the original future John Connor was supposed to look like, if that makes sense.

Finally the 10th anniversary of Michael Hutchence's death has instigated a new documentary on the former INXS frontman.

Well that covers this weeks roundup, remember if you want to do it next week get in touch with Richard.
