Fincher takes on The Killer

DavidFincher.jpgDavid Fincher making toast is news, and so when we hear that he's set to direct a graphic novel about an assassin, it's good news, after all it's David Fincher people.

The Killer is the story of an assassin at the top of his game that suddenly discovers a conscience which begins to consume him. At the same time as he's discovering this a top detective is slowly tracking him down in order to bring him to justice.

It sounds an interesting tale, and Variety Allesandro Camon is adapting the script from the French graphic novel by Alexis Nolent (Matz) and Luc Jacamon.

With David Fincher at the helm I'm sure we're going to be in for something special. Has anyone read the novel and can comment on it?
