Friday the 13th remake Director

Friday13th_Poster.jpgThe plan to remake Friday the 13th moves forward, despite past history of horror remakes, and there's news out today that a Director is in final negotiations for the task, and it's not very promising.

Marcus Nispel is in talks to do it, and he's the man who remade The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film.

The story from Reuters through Yahoo News tells us that there's a plan behind the remake and that's to bring back the horror figure of Jason, the immortal killer in the hockey mask.

So what they're saying is that they want to bring back the franchise, just like they did with Chainsaw Massacre. Mmm...and didn't they do that well?
