Good Luck Chuck competition

GoodLuckChuck.jpgThis has to be the oddest but best competition I've run, and perhaps the best marketing ever. This one's for Good Luck Chuck, the film starring Dane Cook, Dan Fogler, and of course the gorgeous Jessica Alba.

The competition is pants. I mean you can win pants. Penguin pants for the ladies and...ermmm...melon pants for the men. You really need to watch the trailer to understand why.

The film sees Chuck get a reputation that every single guy would think would be a dream, women who sleep with him suddenly find their dream man, and it's never him. This reputation builds and pretty soon he's weighed under by women who want to have sex with him so they can meet their ideal man. Sounds tough doesn't it guys? Then along comes Cam, and he falls for her, and then tries everything he can not to sleep with her for fear that she finds her ideal guy and leaves him.

GoodLuckChuck-Pants.jpgGoodLuckChuck-Boxers.jpgHere are the prizes you can win. Ladies on the left, and men on the right.

The ladies pants feature a cool penguin while the mens feature a melon...a melon with a hole in it. To explain that better I've included the trailer which alludes to the reasoning behind it. Of course I'm sure non of the guys know about it until they've watched the trailer...ahem.

The ladies pants are size 10 and the mens are 32" waist. That's me out...for both.

To win one, it's easy. Just give me the name of a recent film that Dane Cook has starred in alongside Kevin Costner. That one is really easy, and if you're stuck you're a click away from the answer.

The competition is for UK residents only, and to enter just send the answer to competition@filmstalker.co.uk, before the end of Sunday November the 25th, and I'll need your name and full postal address too.

As usual, these details go to no one else apart from me and are kept in my private email on my personally locked computer in my own house. Your details will be passed to the company responsible for mailing out the prizes and then deleted, you will not be contacted again.

Remember, closing date of November the 25th and UK residents only.

Here's the trailer for the film for that big melon clue:

Here's the official blurb for the film.

It all started when Charlie Logan was ten years old. Breaking the cardinal rules of spin-the-bottle, Charlie refused to lip-lock with a demented Goth girl – and she put a hex on him. Now, twenty-five years later, Charlie (Dane Cook) is a successful dentist…and still cursed. While his plastic surgeon best friend, Stu (Dan Fogler), pursues as many of his patients as possible, Charlie can’t seem to find the right girl. Even worse, he discovers at an ex-girlfriend’s wedding that every woman he’s ever slept with has found true love – with the next guy after him. Before he knows it, Charlie’s reputation as a “good luck charm” has women – from sexy strangers to his overweight receptionist – lining up for a quickie. But a life filled with all sex and no love has Charlie lonelier than ever – that is, until he meets Cam (Jessica Alba). An accident-prone penguin specialist, Cam is as hard-to-get as she is beautiful. But when a genuine romance develops, Charlie realizes he’s got to find a way to break his good-luck curse…before the girl of his dreams winds up with the next guy she meets.

A hilarious comedy about the luckiest – and unluckiest – guy on earth, GOOD LUCK CHUCK stars Dane Cook, Jessica Alba and Dan Fogler, and is directed by Mark Helfrich, produced by Mike Karz, Barry Katz and Brian Volk-Weiss and written by Josh Stolberg.
