Clips 'n' Pics: Alien vs Predator: Requiem, Gaiman's Coraline

Coraline.jpgI've found a bunch of clips online today that you might be interested in, one is for Neil Gaiman's Coraline film which is directed by Henry Selick, the man who directed A Nightmare Before Christmas and it shows.

Then there are clips galore, and a five minute behind the scenes look, at Alien vs Predator: Requiem.

Coraline is the story of a girl who enters a fantastical world when she arrives at her new house. She is initially bored and unhappy and has strange neighbours all around, so when she discovers a magical door that takes her to a better version of her own life, she's immediately drawn into it.

There her other mother looks to entertain her and make her happy at every turn, and so she must make a decision and choose which side of the door she wants to spend her life on.

It's a Neil Gaiman story, and the short clip shows a strong connection to the style of The Nightmare Before Christmas, also from the Director Henry Selick.

You can see the short clip over at Neil Gaiman's site [QT:L] through Movie-List Forums.

Then there's the collection of clips for Alien vs Predator: Requiem, and some of them are looking rather strong. There are five clips in all and a five minute(ish) behind the scenes clip for fans.

The more I'm seeing of this film the more I'm thinking it might actually pull something special out of the bag.

You can see all these clips over at IESB [Flash].
