Eden Log is looking like a pretty dark and interesting science fiction thriller from France. Although I don't know that much about it as yet, I have managed to find a new trailer, an English language teaser, and an English synopsis for the film.

Dark, claustrophobic and quite intense, that's the impression you get from the new trailer, and it's right here for you.

A man regains consciousness at the bottom of a cave. Tolbiac has not got the slightest idea what events brought him there, nor what has happened to the man whose corpse he discovers next to him. The only way to escape the creature that pursues him: climb to the surface through a series of paths with the atmosphere of a graveyard, abandoned by a mysterious organization: Eden Log.

Well what do you think? I think it looks pretty interesting, and it has a feel of something like Half-Life in a way - that is the idea of trying to get to the surface and find out what the hell is going on.

There's an excellent site to go along with the film that's revealing information layer by layer. It's a rather cool site too.

Although it does look low budget, it does have a nice feel to it. Perhaps this is something to watch out for?
