Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay trailers online

HaroldKumarGuantanamoBay.jpgA trailer has arrived online for the Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle sequel, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

Now while I never saw the first film, have no real concept of who these two comedians are, and didn't really find any big belly laughs in the trailer, it is rather amusing and pokes a huge political thumb into the American government's eye.

I appreciated a lot of the set-ups in the trailer, they're much more intelligent than I had assumed the film was going to be - and bear in mind that's with my limited knowledge of who these guys are and what they are about. So from that point I was impressed. The scene of the woman screaming terrorist on the plane, the parents being interrogated, and the Al Qaeda - North Korea link up were all good moments and suggest a clever and insightful script.

I was also impressed with seeing my lovely car in one of the shots, although mines a much lighter blue! Seriously though, you can see the trailer for Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay right here, see what you think and if you can convert me to the original.

The trailer is from YouTube through AceShowbiz.

Now remember all that stuff I said about intelligent script? I just caught the restricted trailer on YouTube, and although it contains many of the same scenes and a few extra moments, the opening scene blew it for me. There they have all this intelligent, sartirical humour, and they start with a bodily function joke...
