Stalked: Favreau with Vaughn and Serkis with Jackson
Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn are teaming up again in comedy, while Andy Serkis may well be playing another CGI character this time in Tintin.
Jon Favreau and country singing stars Tim McGraw and Dwight Yoakam are joining the Vince Vaughn and Reese Wihterspoon "comedy" Four Christmases.
The film looks at a newly married coupled who decide to visit each of their two sets of parents (both sets of parents have split and moved on to new relationships) over the Xmas holidays. The film will apparently play on the broken and difficult family relationships that the couples have with their families.
Wow, sounds uninspiring news from Reuters through Yahoo News.
Favreau and McGraw will play the two bullying brothers of Vince Vaughn's character who delight in tormenting their brother. Yoakam will play the overly zealous partner of the Witherspoon character's mother (Mary Steenburgen). Sissy Spacek, Kristin Chenoweth and Robert Duvall also star in the film.
Andy Serkis is reteaming with Peter Jackson in his film episode of the legendary cartoon character Tintin. According to Reuters through Yahoo News he is apparently set to voice the character of Captain Haddock in the big screen adaptation of the cartoon character and his investigative band, including snowy the dog.
Once again he'll be creating a CGI character as all three films, one of which Peter Jackson is directing and another Steven Spielberg will be taking on, will be motion capture, so expect that not quite real, not quite CGI feel to it. The story comes from Yahoo News.
