Stalked: New Bond baddie, Justice League Flash and Mannerheim cast
The new Bond baddie has been confirmed, and he looks a corker.
Adam Brody is set to play The Flash in the Justice League of America film.
Mikko Nousiaine will play the lead in Renny Harlin's biographical film of the Finnish leader Baron Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim.
Mathieu Amalric has been confirmed through Empire as the new Bond baddie for Bond 22, whatever it is to be called. He says that it's not going to affect him doing films for free for his friends (catch that all Mathieu's friends, get your film offers in, he's going cheap!).
For those of you who don't know who he is, just have a look at The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (Le Scaphandre et le papillon) which is soon to be seen, or the upcoming back to back French gangster films L' Ennemi public n° 1 and L' Instinct de mort.
Adam Brody is confirmed as playing The Flash in the new Justice League of America film, so there is a known actor going in there, even if he is known for television more than anything. So according to the L.A. Times through Empire that makes Brody from The O.C. as Flash, Scott Porter from Friday Night Lights as Superman, Teresa Palmer from Wolf Creek (Filmstalker review) as Talia al Ghul, and the rapper turned actor Common rumored to be The Green Lantern. /film apparently came up with the story so since I like crediting internet sources I hunted down the link.
Finally Mikko Nousiainen has been cast as the Finnish military leader and President Baron Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim in Renny Harlin's biographical epic film of the man and his life, Mannerheim. It is set to be the most expensive film made in Finland and is written by Heikki Vihinen. The story comes from Variety.
