The first footage of Clark Gregg's film of Chuck Palahniuk's novel Choke (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com) has appeared online with Sam Rockwell taking the leading role.

I haven't read the book but from comparisons others are making this sounds like it just doesn't compare with their ideas from the novel. See for yourself.

Scrolling down the list of actors I caught the name of Kelly Macdonald who did a wonderful job in No Country for Old Men (Filmstalker review) and looks set to be upping her career somewhat with the level of roles she's getting.

Here's the clip for Choke from Twitch which gives us a little about the film and has Clark Gregg talking about his adaptation of the novel and of the story. Sam Rockwell looks good, although it is rather brief.
