Doomsday trailer online

Doomsday.jpgAwesome, gorgeous, sexy, and dark...and that's just Rhona Mitra. I wasn't really sure what to expect from the Neil Marshall trailer for Doomsday, but I think everything I wanted and more was just delivered.

Forget the Star Trek and Cloverfield hype for the moment and strap yourself into the trailer for this superb looking science fiction thriller type film with superb effects, a great cast, and above all, a flying Bentley.

Neil Marshall, you are something else.

I did start thinking that I have to watch out for some cool Scottish locations that will be in the film, and quickly forgot all about it as the pace picks up to a frenzy and we see some lovely shots from the trailer.

The film tells the story of a future where a strange plague begins to sweep across the country. In an effort to contain it all those infected are heralded into Scotland and the borders sealed. Everyone is left to die.

Cut to the future and the now normalised London is hit by another outbreak, and suddenly panic is rising. Except behind closed doors in Government there's hope because they know that inside the sealed off Scotland there are survivors, and there are many, and that means that somewhere in there is a cure.

So a secret team of soldiers are sent in to try and find it, led by Rhona Mitra and including the superb Sean Pertwee. There's also Malcolm McDowell, Bob Hoskins, Alexander Siddig, David O'Hara and Adrian Lester to boot.

You can see the trailer for Doomsday, thanks to a message from the Facebook group, over at Yahoo Movies [Flash:480p:720p:1080p] and it's in high definition too.
