A trailer has appeared online for Smart People, a film that has gone a little under the radar as huge budget blockbusters take up all the headline space, and it looks rather unfairly so.

Just reading the cast list of the film gets you excited, and I'll read it in excitement order for me. Dennis Quaid, Thomas Haden Church, Ellen Page and I guess I'll have to add Sarah Jessica Parker.

Saying that, just looking at the few short moments that Sarah Jessica Parker appears in tells us nothing, let's just hope she's as far away from her Carrie character as possible.

I am a big Dennis Quaid fan though, and seeing him buddy up with Thomas Haden Church could give them both another strong pairing, and another strong role for Ellen Page.

Okay the script does seem to be a little schmulzy towards the end of the trailer, but the rest of it does look rather interesting and strong. The great thing about this trailer is that it gets me interested in the characters and how they interact with each other.
