A director to replace the leaving Mark Romanek has finally been chosen, and it isn't any of the wild rumours that the Interflab has been going crazy over.

Joe Johnston has been chosen as the new director, the man behind Hidalgo and Jurassic Park III.

The Wolf Man stars Benecio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt in a remake of the classic 1941 film, written by Andrew Kevin Walker, who also write Se7en, 8MM and Sleepy Hollow.

Still, despite those Interflab rumours being so wild, I would have liked the idea of John Landis directing the film. Judging by his previous films I'm not so sure about the news from Variety that Joe Johnston has been chosen. I mean Jurassic Park III?
