Deception trailer online

TheTourist.jpgThe trailer for Deception, formerly The Tourist, is online. Starring Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor alongside Michelle Williams, Maggie Q and Natasha Henstridge, it looks pretty good.

You'll remember Jackman plays the high flying laywer who entices McGregor's boring accountant into an underground sex club. However when the accountant is implicated in a murder it looks like the lawyer isn't who he claims, and is setting him up for the fall.

It seems an interesting premise, but what I like most about this film is putting Hugh Jackman in a serious role as the baddie and pitching him against Ewan McGregor. Okay, there are some amazingly beautiful women in the film too, but that's a bonus.

Seriously, the trailer for Deception does make this film seem pretty damn powerful stuff and this could be an excellent thriller. Mark Bomback, the writer, also gave us Die Hard 4.0 aka Live Free or Die Hard (Filmstalker review), and so I have no doubt about his capability in delivering a thriller.

The director, Marcel Langenegger, hasn't much to his career to date, but after this film he's working on the World War II film Brothers in Arms.

I really do like the look of this film, and Jackman is looking like a very powerful leading bad guy.

See the trailer over at MSN Movies [Flash:Embed] through Coming Soon.

The trailer looks good alright, I'd watch any film with Hugh Jackman or Ewan McGregor anytime.
