Legion gains cast

PaulBettany.jpgLegion is the story of God losing faith in humanity and bringing about the apocalypse with only the archangel Michael standing between humanity surviving and being destroyed.

While Paul Bettany is playing the archangel Michael, now a number of strong names have been added.

Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson, Jon Tenney, Charles S. Dutton, Lucas Black, Kate Walsh, Adrianne Palicki, Kevin Durand and Willa Holland are all on board the Legion film which sees the directorial debut of Scott Charles Stewart who also co-wrote with Peter Schink, according to Variety.

The story of Legion has a group of strangers trying to deliver a baby that they think is Jesus Christ in his second coming, Michael has to try and make sure it happens while God seems to have turned his back on humankind.

It sounds like a great idea for a film, and definitely an interesting cast with Quaid, Dutton and Bettany, and who's going to grow tired of a biblical epic like this?
