There's a new trailer online for Nim's Island, the children's adventure film starring Abigail Breslin, Jodie Foster and Gerard Butler, and it looks rather different from the first.

The first trailer gave a more dramatic feel to it and gave more of the story and the characters, whereas this trailer looks much more like a children's adventure romp complete with slapstick moments.

However, it still looks like it might be a lot of fun, and while children's adventure films aren't my thing I know a lot of people with children who will be racing to this and will get a lot more out of it than I will.

So it's only right that I direct you to the trailer, but I would advise that you watch both of them and get a proper handle on the film, because both present rather different films.

I don't think I remember a time when trailers have worked so hard to present different views of the films they've represented.
