Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he's writing the next Rambo film already, and there we were thinking it was all over.

According to Stallone he's halfway through the script and he takes time to reveal that there's something a little different about this Rambo, Rambo 5.

Through Metro Magazine and Moviehole come the very words of Sylvester Stallone himself:

“I would like to take Rambo to another genre,experiment a little with the character.It would definitely not be another warmovie, cuz I can't go any further with that than what I've already done. What it's going to be like I'm not going to reveal at this point. But I'm already halfway though writing the manuscript”

Sounds like he's taking the right attitude if there is going to be another film, because so far he's only half way through the first draft of the script, so there's a long way to go before it becomes a film.

Do we really want to see another war film from Rambo, and where could Stallone take it if it's not in a war situation? Sounds like it could be a return to the first film and the idea that the producers have been banding around already – Rambo returns to the U.S. and tries to make a life in the real world once again.

Is there an appetite for a fifth Rambo film, and will Stallone be able to pull it off still?
