Bourne 4 announced

MattDamon.jpgWhile reading about Denzel Washington leading The Matarese Circle I noted a comment at the bottom of the article about a fourth Bourne Ultimatum film.

We've already that Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass have been talking about ideas to bring the character back for another film, well now it seems that Universal have officially announced the film.

Although there aren't many details the last we heard was that the actor and director who have led the series were working out possible ideas just to see if they could bring back the character again. Now it looks like they have found a way for Bourne to return.

This is as much as we get from the Yahoo News story:

"Universal, meanwhile, has announced a fourth "Bourne" movie reteaming Damon and director Paul Greengrass, though Ludlum wrote only three novels. Two recent Bourne books were written by Eric Van Lustbader and published after Ludlum's death in 2001, with a third Van Lustbader title expected in the summer."

Now that looks like a definite go for the film, we'll have to wait and see if both actor and director are on board, but I couldn't see them making the film without Matt Damon, and Paul Greengrass is a master of the Bourne shaky-cam, so why wouldn't he?
