Filmstalker's Week 31st March to 6th April

Newspapers.jpgThis week sees competitions still on the go with DVDs available to win. There are trailers including Surveillance, War Inc and Hellboy II: The Golden Army.

The news roundup includes a new project for Brad Pitt, new pictures of Heath Ledger as The Joker and it looks like there will be another Bourne film, oh and Daniel Craig reveals how much he wants to stay on as Bond.

You can vote for your nominees in the Filmstalker Hotdog Awards.

A DVD copy of On the Black Hill is still up for grabs.

As is a copy of St Ives/All for Love.

C. Thomas Howell has directed and starred in War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave.

You can now watch the trailer for Daniel Craig's Flashbacks of a Fool in a variety of formats.

There is also yet another trailer for Wanted starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy.

They've only gone and made a sequel to War Games, called War Games: The Dead Code.

Surveillance is a family affair with both Jennifer and David Lynch involved. As you'd probably expect it looks pretty interesting.

A new trailer is available for War, Inc starring John Cusack.

The trailer for Deception is now in Quicktime.

There's a great trailer online for Hellboy II: The Golden Army.

Finally a trailer has arrived for Blindness, the film from Fernando Meirelles adapted from the novel by José Saramago.

Danny Trejo says that Robert Rodriguez is still on to direct Machete.

Kevin Spacey says that he will return to the role of Lex Luthor in the sequel to Superman Returns.

Brad Pitt is to produce and star in a film about Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett, who went missing while searching for a lost city in Brazil.

There is a new script in existence for a Halo film, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting on it being brought to life.

The first man on the moon is to become the subject of a film. It is to be based on the book First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong.

More dates have been added to the UK screenings of Grindhouse.

We will hopefully avoid an actors strike, as the Screen Actors Guild plans to start negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers on April 15th.

There are some great new photos of Heath Ledger as The Joker.

Cowboys of Christ, the sequel to the great cult film The Wicker Man has stopped filming. There are budget problems and no word so far on when it might start up again.

And it looks like we will be seeing another Bourne film, with both Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass signed up.

Charlton Heston has passed away leaving a legacy of film behind him, and some controversy in his later life.

The Hellraiser remake seems to be in trouble as the directors/writers are taken off the project.

Daniel Craig also says that he'd like to stay on as Bond for as long as his body will let him. Do you agree?
