Luhrmann's Australia photos

Australia_Still.jpgSome photos have appeared online for Baz Luhrmann's epic film Australia, and what struck me about them almost immediately is how they looks so much like Casablanca in one and Indiana Jones in the other.

It looks like this is really going for the epic film with quite a stylistic treatment.

I don't usually run photos for no reason since it's blatant film promotion, unless there's something to really talk about then I just let other news sites carry them, but here there's an aspect that really does capture your eye.

I think it's something to do with the style of the two stills, and the contrast between the kissing scene and the horse riding one, they just look superb.

Have a look at them over at the official Australia film site found through /Film, I'm starting to become really interested in Australia.
