Following Toshiba's decision to pull HD-DVD, Paramount hadn't confirmed their plans regarding Blu-ray releases. Well now that's changed and they have released a list of forthcoming films to be released in Blu-ray format. They are The Spiderwick Chronicles, Bee Movie, Face/Off, Next, There Will Be Blood and Cloverfield.

Variety reports that they will be release over the next few months, with Cloverfield appearing at the beginning of June. Not so good if you have already bought a standard DVD copy. They will also be releasing older titles over the course of the year. It's no surprise really, except that it's taken this long.
