Ritchie and Vaughn in Debt
Guy Ritchie has another project planned and thank the lord it's not a gangster film, or one starring his esteemed wife. He is teaming up again with Matthew Vaughn to remake the 2007 Israeli thriller The Debt. The film is set in the 1960s and follows three Mossad agents as they try and track down a World War II war criminal, once believed to be dead. The pursuit takes them across Europe as they try and track him down.
The Hollywood Reporter says Miramax have signed up for the remake, with Vaughn's writing partner Jane Goldman also invloved. Ritchie and Vaughn have worked together a few times including Snatch and, ahem Swept Away. This film does sound promising though. Has anyone seen the original?
