Choke trailer online

SamRockwell.jpgOne of Chuck Palahniuk's novels has already been turned into a film in Fight Club. And now the trailer is here for the movie adaptation of Choke, starring Sam Rockwell.

Even having not read the book of this one, there are some things in the trailer that still point to him. Take a look and see what you think.

The trailer for Choke is on MTV, but for those of us outside America just click on the "Watch this in HD" button on the left (thanks again James!). I'm glad they have these rules for copyright reasons, and then put an elongated way round it, but hey at least we get to see it right.

Choke according to UK is about:

A sex-addicted con-man pays for his mother's hospital bills by playing on the sympathies of those who rescue him from choking to death.

That pretty much sums up what I got from the trailer. This looks really good, although I think there is probably a more adult trailer for this out there somewhere. I did laugh at the blond joke at the end as well. What do you think, it's highly unlikely to have the same effect that Fight Club did, but is it something you're looking forward to?

Update from Richard: I've found an embeddable version of the trailer if you don't want to head over to MTV and see the HD version:

Beat me to this one Louise. Yeah, interesting that this was the first time you laughed at it...same for me, right at the end.

For the rest of it I really wasn't sure what kind of film I was watching.
