A bootlegged copy of a nine minute promo of Red Cliff has appeared online. John Woo's film is set during the Three Kingdoms period in Ancient China, when a decisive battle changed the course of China's history.

I'll confess to only usually watching trailers, and occasionally short clips of films before they are released. But that shouldn't stop you, the clip is below.

Here is the first nine minutes of Red Cliff, courtesy of trailer addict through /film. The film could be split into two when released, but at the minute I can't find a UK or US release date. It is being released in the far east this summer. Is this what you were expecting?
