Dawn of the Dead to go 3-D

DawnoftheDead.jpgGeorge A Romero's Dawn of the Dead is to be released in 3-D. A number of films recently have gone 3-D, and some more may be coming in the future. And now my favourite of the Living Dead series is to follow them.

We've already heard about the new Tron possibly going 3-D, and we've seen the recent 3-D trailer for Journey to the Centre of the Earth 3D. Both of these will be, or have been, made specifically with a 3-D audience in mine. However news from The Hollywood Reporter is that George A Romero's Dawn of the Dead will be getting "dimensionalized" into 3-D. The idea being to release it in theatres for the viewing public.

Dawn of the Dead might just work in 3-D, crazed zombies lurching towards the screen. Hell, who am I kidding, if it's released over here I'll be going to see what it's like.
