Sam Raimi on more Spiderman films
As we know there is already a script for Spiderman 4 and 5. And Tobey Maguire is open to the idea of playing Peter Parker again. Not much has been heard from Sam Raimi as to if he would be back for more or not.
Well until now that is. He's been talking about where things are with the new film. And it turns out there are lots of things still up in the air.
Sam Raimi spoke to Coming Soon about how things were proceeding:
James Vanderbilt is writing the script and I'm excited to read it. I think it's going to be done in a few months, I'm hoping it's as great as our discussions were about it and I'm hoping it feels right for me because I love Spider-Man. I'm hoping I'm well rested enough to embrace it and I'm hoping Sony wants me to do it. If all of those things come together, I would love to do it. There are a lot of unknowns about the future.
So there we have it, at least we know Raimi has been in talks about the next Spiderman script. And that he wants the original cast back for any more films. Sounds like they are still a while away from confirming anything though.
Do you want Sam Raimi to keep directing the Spiderman films, so that they all keep a similar look? Or is it time for a new cast, and a new director?
