The Omen series on Blu-ray

TheOmenBluRay.jpgThe original The Omen is getting a Blu-ray release, and not only that but the entire series is coming with it. Furthermore the best news is that there are some films from the series that won't be making an appearance.

Thankfully there's not Omen IV: The Awakening, however the Blu-ray release does include the new 2006 version of The Omen, obviously they believe that version belongs with the original trilogy. I'll leave that decision to you, but just read this list of specifications.

The Omen Collection will be on four discs and will feature the original 1976 The Omen, Damien: Omen II and the final in the trilogy, Omen III: The Final Conflict. Oh, and of course that lesser The Omen remake from 2006, and all on Blu-ray.

According to Bloody Disgusting the technical specifications of the films and discs are:

If you don't want to buy the whole collection you'll be interested to know that The Omen is also being released separately. However I'm going for the complete edition, even if it does have one film that doesn't belong there, after all, these films are some stunning cinematic horror, particularly the first.
