Win The Onion Movie on DVD
The Onion Movie is coming to DVD and I don't think I've laughed so much after watching a trailer in a long time...and I have to say that Steven Seagal's new film looks stunning, the title of which I'll leave for the main story.
This looks hilarious and I've got the trailer right here for you, but that's not all. I have three copies of the DVD for to win.
The Onion Movie is a collection of short news clips and interviews which parody a multitude of things, and while the film may not have been getting rave reviews, the trailer I just saw certainly had some really funny moments. It comes from the writers of The Onion newspaper and takes a satirical look at the world we live in today.
"According to a medical study, depression hits losers hardest."
That news comment made me laugh out loud, and the safety recall for the car manufacturers new safety feature of neckbelts had me just the same. However the biggest laugh was reserved for Steven Seagal as the Cockpuncher. Oh you have to see this trailer.
There's also a couple of amusing clips from the rather trashy and sex obsessed teen pop star Melissa Cherry. The first sets the scene and the other makes me laugh a lot and the similarities to the star they're making fun of is uncanny.
So fancy a free copy of the DVD? Well you can win it easily. Here's the competition details.
First up the DVD is region 1 and the competition is going to be open to U.S. residents only. It's been a while since I had a U.S. only competition, but there's going to be a good few more coming. The DVD features the film itself as well as deleted scenes and outtakes, and is presented in 1.85:1 with DD 5.1 audio.
There are three copies to win and I'll randomly select the winners after the closing date. The postal addresses of the winners will be sent to the company who is handling the press for the DVD release and they'll send you the discs - they will not contact you for any other reason.
So to be in with a chance of winning this film on DVD, just email the answer to the following question along with your full postal address to me at email@example.com.
