Man on Wire trailer online

ManonWire.jpgThere's a trailer online for Man on Wire, a film which I failed to catch at the Edinburgh International Film Festival to my regret. The previous clips and trailers I've seen haven't done the film the justice that this trailer does.

It's a documentary that looks at the events of August 7th 1974, when Philippe Petit walked across a wire that he had illegally set-up between the Two Towers. The documentary talks to Petit and the people who helped him to recreate the amazing act.

This trailer for Man on Wire looks superb and really gives the sense of something big and apparently something rather moving.

You can see the trailer for yourself over at Apple Trailers [iPod:QT:M:480p:720p:1080p] and see the sense of adventure that it inspires, and paradoxically, perhaps a great tribute to the Towers themselves.

This is just one of the 31 movies Im seeing at the New Zealand International Film Festival and sounds like a very good movie.
