New Blindness trailer online

Blindness.jpgThere's a new trailer online for Blindness, the film from Fernando Meirelles which is based on the prize winning novel from José Saramago (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com / Play.com).

The film tells the story of an epidemic sweeping the world that makes people blind, the disease is spread by contact and soon blind people are being quarantined and removed from society. One woman pretends to be blind in order to stay with her husband who has been taken to one of the camps, and the rest I should leave for the trailer.

The previous trailer for Blindness was good, but I don't think it was that strong, this one really does power home the story and hint at some big conspiracy or twist in the story.

Have a look at it below through the excellent QuietEarth who I have not long discovered:

What do you think? Interesting? There is a little bit of me that's concerned that this might be a little formulaic, but maybe not.
