Pitt closer to Inglorious Bastards?
The last casting rumour we heard about Inglorious Bastards, was that Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio were to be starring. Now the latest is that Pitt is in talks about a role. But Leonardo DiCaprio? Well not so much.
Quentin Tarantino's World War II film sounds even better all the time. Pitt and DiCaprio together would have been great.
Entertainment Weekly, through Rope of Silicon, say that Brad Pitt is indeed in talks to star as Lieutenant Aldo Raine in Inglorious Bastards. It's believed to be Pitt's representatives themselves that have said he is in talks. Another mystery source though, says that Leonardo DiCaprio is not in the running to play Col. Hans Landa.
Quentin Tarantino's film has also a finance partner and distributer in Universal, they'll team up with The Weinstein Co.
If the rest of the cast is full of big names like Pitt this could be something special. Hey if we can't have DiCaprio, let's have Pitt, Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone.
