It looks like Tom Cruise will now no longer be playing the US President. After agreeing to star in Edwin A. Salt which we told you about yesterday, it looks like Cruise is leaving The 28th Amendment. Moviehole say the makers have offered the role to Christian Bale, and he might be the US President who finds that the country is actually run by a secret organisation. Denzel Washington is in line to play an operative trying to assassinate the President.Sounds like another big role for Bale alongside Batman and Terminator 4. Sounds like a pretty good film though.

Josh Holloway has joined the large cast of Stay Cool by the Polish brothers. Already starring are Winona Ryder, Mark Polish, Sean Astin, Chevy Chase, Hilary Duff and Jon Cryer. It's described as a "knowing your age" comedy. A writer (Mark Polish) returns to his old town to address the graduating seniors at his old school, and is confronted by his unrequited high school crush played by Winona Ryder.
