Aerosmith film?
We already know that Aerosmith aren't afraid of a little merchandising and lending their name to other projects such as the exclusive Aerosmith Guitar Hero video game, however a film? Well it could be around the corner, although it will be featured much more on Steven Tyler than of anyone else.
You see Tyler is apparently about to release his second memoir in five years, and while the first one concentrated more on the band, this one could be more about his life.
The stories of Aerosmith are legendary, particularly of the "Toxic Twins", the nickname given to Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, the lead singer and lead guitarist respectively, because of their partying lifestyle that included a rather large amount of drugs.
However that's in the past now, and the band do advocate a clean living lifestyle, despite the fact that they seem to have survived everything they've thrown at themselves. Now with one memoir already released, Walk This Way: The Autobiography of Aerosmith (Play.com / Amazon.com / Amazon.co.uk
/ Filmstalker stores), another is set to make an appearance, according to Reuters. They say that Perry is about to release another memoir, and this one could be of his own life.
I'm a huge fan of Aerosmith, and they are crying out for a film about their lives in the band, and perhaps of some of their private struggles too. They have seen more excesses than most and have come out the other side with a successful career.
Wouldn't you like to see a film about Aerosmith, or is there another band that should be immortalised in film before them?
