Stalked: Red Sonja, Inglorious Bastards
Red Sonja sequels are already being talked about.
And Diane Kruger has joined Inglorious Bastards.
The Red Sonja remake starring Rose McGowan is underway, and already sequels are being talked about. McGowan is playing the role once made famous by Brigitte Nielson, she was in the original in 1985 with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The director of the remake, Douglas Aarniokoski, is wary of sequel talk, but admits they are thinking about multiple films.
I mean, if we start to talk about that, I start to give away the third act. Yes, let's just say yes. It's definitely got franchise written all over it.
I guess they'll go back to the comic books for new material. The news comes from Ace Showbiz. Robert Rodriguez is producing Red Sonja, and it's expected to be released in 2010.
Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards has it's first female cast member. Diane Kruger has joined Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, Eli Roth and B.J. Novak. Kruger will play a German movie star. She was also in Troy with Brad Pitt. The news is from IMDB.
