Closed: Win a copy of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer on DVD
Jack Brooks is a monster slayer, but he wasn't always that way. Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer tells the story of how Jack became what he is today and stars Robert Englund and Trevor Matthews, and you can win a copy of the extra packed DVD right here on Filmstalker.
I've just watched the film, and although I still have a ton of extras to wade through before the review, I can say that it is funny, has some good laughs, some good bloody moments, and some surprisingly good creature effects. Oh, and Robert Englund.
The film opens with Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer preparing to save a village from an impending monster attack, and as his preparations complete we head back in time to find that once he was just a plumber struggling with his past memories of the horrific death of his parents and his uncontrollable anger. However something is about to happen to him to make him remember his past, come to terms with it, and realise what he can do best in the world.
I have the trailer here for you to have a look at, and more than that I have three copies of the DVD to give away, and it comes packed to the covers with extras. Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer is released on DVD on the 29th of September.

Here's a list of the extras on the DVD offering. I've also watched the deleted scenes so far, and they are the most complete and longest deleted scenes I've, well, seen. There are a couple of scenes which are pretty long and seem to have made it right to the final cut because they are nigh on finished. One offers a great scene for Robert Englund to delve into his character.
