Damon and Greengrass on fourth Bourne

BourneUltimatum.jpgApparently so. It would seem that during the announcement of a writer to work on the fourth Bourne film it's been cleared up if Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass will return for another close up and shaky outing for Bourne. The answer seems to be yes.

Well the article says that they are attached, and although that's not always hard and fast, it's the closest that we've come so far.

The fourth Bourne will not be taken from a novel, we already knew that, but the job of taking the first crack at the script is down to George Nolfi, the writer of The Bourne Ultimatum (Filmstalker review), The Sentinel (Filmstalker review), Ocean's Twelve and Timeline under his belt. Okay, well Timeline might not have been the writer's fault.

Interestingly, as I've talked about before, he's hard at work writing the screenplay for the big screen version of Hawaii Five-0. Yes, I did say that.

Once he has that out of the way it looks like he'll be hitting the next Bourne adventure, according to The Hollywood Reporter. They also state that:

“Paul Greengrass, who directed the last two Bourne films, and Matt Damon are also attached to the new film.”

So it that holds out to be true and they stay on board then we'll be seeing more of the same from the Bourne team, and this after Matt Damon seemed so adamant that he wanted to do other things and that a Bourne return would be quite some time away.
