Dragonball needs reshoots

DragonBallZ.jpgThe Dragonball film may be heading for trouble, as it needs reshoots. The trailer appeared not long ago, and as a neutral failed to impress me.

Now, for whatever reason they are reshooting. Could this spell disaster?

Dragonball is the film version of the TV series and Manga comics. Having never read or watched any of it, I'll need to defer to mighty IMBD again.

A young boy named Goku seeks out upon his grandfather's dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls (of which he has one) in order to prevent Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world.

Unfortunately none of that means much of anything to me. But it does to plenty of other people, some of whom have been a bit under whelmed by how the new films looks. With a release date for April next year, and a trailer already out there, they are reshooting some scenes.

Cinematical say the makers are looking for Tibetan and Nepalese actors for the reshoots. But no word on what exactly they are redoing. Going purely by the trailer, which you can see below, I'm not particularly excited about it. Are you Dragonball fans into it? Or are you getting worried?
