There's another trailer online for Notorious, the film about the rapper Notorious B.I.G. aka Chris Wallace who rose from the streets and a possible life of crime and drugs to become one of the leading lights of the rap and hip hop world and a role model to millions, as well as one hell of a money earner.

However the ride wasn't plain sailing and there were difficult choices on the way, and he was involved in the seemingly small minded and petty feud of the East and West coast rappers. He was shot dead some three years after the release of his first album in a murder case that remains unsolved to this day.

So you can see the film promises a lot, with a rich story not only of Biggie, but also of the whole rapper coast feud, something that many say was overhyped for the media and the record sales.

Above all though, I hope that Notorious concentrates on the positive, the choice that Wallace was given, a choice you can clearly see in the trailer. Yet I think it will be overpowered by the fame, fortune, and what that does to a man who has grown up with next to nothing, and that too will be a strong positive message in itself.
