Slumdog Millionaire trailer online

SlumdogMillionaire.jpgThe trailer for Slumdog Millionaire trailer has arrived online and it really does warm the heart and lift you up, and it's not really giving away anything either. Although that said I did read a warning somewhere that you shouldn't watch it, but I ignored it and didn't find anything wrong with doing so.

Danny Boyle's film looks superb, and the trailer does really get to you, although the choice of music is excellent and when Coldplay kicks in you're always going to feel melancholy!

You can see the trailer right here, and for those of you who don't know, it tells the story of Jamal Malik, an eighteen year old orphan from the Mumbai slums who is on the Indian version of Who “Wants to be a Millionaire?”, just one question away from winning twenty million rupees.

However the show breaks for the night, just before he can answer, and police arrest him, convinced that he's cheating, after all how can someone from the slums answer all these questions right that astound the higher educated society members?

It seems that in order to tell them how he knows the answers he must walk them through his life story, and that's just what he does.

Slumdog Millionaire is described as a heart-warming and life-fulfilling tale, but knowing Danny Boyle's films it won't be all sweetness and light and some harsh realities of life will be in there too, and for me that's a good thing.

Here's the trailer.
