Anne Hathaway is to star in The Fiance. Yes, you've guessed it, it's a romantic comedy. She will play a woman who ends her engagement to her by all accounts perfect fiance. She's trying to find out exactly who she is, but her parents intervene and try and reunite her with said fiance. The news is from Variety.

Variety also say that Mr Demi Moore, Aston Kutcher, will play a former hitman in Five Killers. His character's past comes back to haunt him, when someone hires a group of killers to take him out. I'm going to take a guess that there are five of them.

One of my favourite actresses, Naomi Watts, is in talks to star in My Name Is Jody Williams. The film will tell the story of the real Jody Williams. The Hollywood Reporter say she was a temp teacher, who became a global activist. She won the Nobel Peace Prize, for a campaign to eradicate landmines. Sounds a bit Erin Brockovich like, even more so when she is described as "brash and somewhat controversial".

Teri Polo is going to star in The Hole, directed by Joe Dante. The hole in question is in the basement of the house she has just moved into with her sons. Needless to say the house is in the country, where no one can hear you scream. The news is from The Hollywood Reporter.
