A little while ago M. Night Shyamalan was talking about the possibility of making a sequel to Unbreakable, in fact he's talked about it a few times since. Apparently it's something that he wanted to do right off the back of Unbreakable, but since the media have such a dim view of his work people didn't see it as much as he had hoped and the film was never made.

Still, Shyamalan hopes that he will eventually make the film, and so I posed you the question if you wanted to see it too, and the response was...

Pretty strongly in favour of seeing an Unbreakable sequel. Here are the results which are prett conclusive, although not as much as you would have hoped for, it's still way more than the media would have you believe want it.

3% - didn't know there was an unbreakable 2

Ermm, I've no idea what it was with the last comment either. No matter, let's move on swiftly.

So I think it's fair to say that the majority would love to see a second Unbreakable, and that's enough of a majorty to make it worthwhile too. So M. Night Shyamalan, if you're listening, forget The Happening (Filmstalker review) and move quickly onto Unbreakable 2.

That is if you get a good script idea.
