The Haunting in Connecticut trailer online
There's a trailer online for the horror film The Haunting in Connecticut starring Virginia Madsen, Elias Koteas, Kyle Gallner and Martin Donovan in the film that is based on a true story, one that was featured on the Discovery Channel series A Haunting.
The story is about a family who move to be nearer the hospital where their son is receiving treatment for cancer. When they moved in little did they realise that the house used to be a funeral home and that some strange acts were committed there.
In the events that were claimed to be true the son began to see strange images of people, four dark men and someone he called the “man in the suit”. After these events continue and his health gets worse his family are forced to commit him for further medical attention, and that's when they realise that the creatures are more real than his imagination, as they begin to come after them.
The Haunting in Connecticut doesn't have that much of a blurb as yet, that's from the original Discovery Channel show from Wikipedia, but the trailer tells us all we need to know, and it looks pretty freaky too.
You can see the trailer over at Apple Trailers [QT:iPod:S:M:L:480p:720p:1080p]. Great time for a release, just before Halloween, and it fits nicely with the feature that's running at the moment – the genre defining true life horror films.
I think this might turn out to be pretty damn scary, and some of the frights look a little less Hollywood than usual. Oh, and there's Virginia Madsen too, and she's always fantastic to watch on screen.
