New Watchmen trailer online

Watchmen_Poster.jpgThere's a new Watchmen trailer online that concentrates more on the story than anything, building on the main theme that costumed superheroes are being murdered for some bigger, more scheming plan.

I really like this trailer. Some are complaining about the musical choices, some about the portrayal of the characters and the voices, however I'm more than happy with all of it. Sure it's perhaps not how I imagined some of the characters voices, but it's damn good.

Just look at the effects of some of the scenes, particularly of Dr. Manhattan and as the characters appear on screen in their costumes. This whole trailer just makes me think Watchmen, it's nigh on perfect.

What people have to realise is that the trailer is for a film, and a film is not a comic book, it's a whole different way of telling a story and above all the images are moving, not still, plus you rely on showing the audience everything rather than sparking their imagination which creates the story and voices around the panels.

For me I'm loving what I see, and yes, I read Watchmen and loved it ages ago.

Here's the trailer in flash format, or you can see it over at Yahoo Movies [Flash:480p:720p:1080p] in high definition.

Ok that gave me shivers!

Really look forward to this! I bet it will be brilliant.
