Charlize Theron is close to joining The Tourist. She would be starring opposite Tom Cruise in the thriller. Theron's role would be as a female Interpol agent who uses an American tourist in an attempt to track down a criminal with whom she once had an affair. It's a remake of the French thriller Anthony Zimmer. Cruise has been on the project for a while already. The news is from Variety.
Ginnifer Goodwin and Nicholas Hoult are joining the cast of A Single Man. Colin Firth, Julianne Moore and Matthew Goode are already involved. Goodwin will play a woman whose husband is not enamoured with their gay neighbour. She however doesn't feel the same. Steven Soderbergh is to executive produce a mob film called Making Jack Falcone. It is based on the story of Joaquin "Jack" Garcia. An FBI agent who went undercover in the Gambino family.
